Member Expectations
- You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to play Topline.
- All usernames must be a "human-like" name. No forum handles are allowed (ie. horselvr, SunsetRanch, etc.)
- You must have an active email address.
- No bullying, trolling, harassment of any kind will be tolerated.
- No double playing is permitted.
- All members begin with 20 Tokens and 150,000 Laurels.
- Laurels are our equivalent of the dollar.
- Tokens are used to create foundation animals.
- Animals age on January 1st and July 1st.
- Foundation (created) animals may be a max of seventeen (17) years of age.
- One (1) Token is required to create a foundation animal.
- All animals must be listed in the Animal Ledger in order to exist.
- Horses can be bred starting at the age of three (3), and dogs at the age of two (2).
- All animals must be housed at either your private facility or at a public boarding facility.
- All breeding is handled via the Breeding feature.
- Foundation animals are given semi-random discipline weighed traits upon creation. Horses receive a genotype based on their phenotype (observed color).
- Bred animals are given traits and colors that take into account their parents. Foal colors take into account genotypes of their parents (if parents are "inspected"). Dog colors are weighed for their breed as well.
- Upon registration all animals are given traits which receive a score from 0-100. Average is 50.
- Animals may increase positive traits/decrease negative traits by being trained by their owner or by a professional trainer.
- Animals trained by a professional trainer may receive a small bump.
- Bred animals start out as "untrained" and must receive initial training (starting at age three) before competing undersaddle/in harness.
- To train animals you must have the designated facility in the notice on the training page.
